The Soo Black Sox swept their final two home games of the season on Sunday afternoon.The locals picked up a pair of victories in a double header with Sudbury, coming from behind to win game one 4-3 before scoring a 2-0 decision in game two.In the opener, the locals fell behind 2-0 after one inning and trailed 3-0 though four innings. The Black Sox got their offense going in the fifth and opened the inning with singles by Trevor Sayers and Domenic Buonomo. After a Coty Anderson walk loaded the bases, Corey Jackson singled in a pair of runs to cut the lead to one run. Kris Kerr proceeded to knock in ano stanley ca ther run with an infield single to tie the game.The score remained tied into the bottom of the seventh inning. After Ben Elliott singled to open the inning, two hitters later, Jackson singled him in to secure the victory.Jackson finished the game with a pair of singles, a double and three runs batted in while Trevor Sayers chipped in with a pair of singles.Game two was all about defence for the Black Sox and it began with Kerr on the hill. When all was said and done, Kerr finished the afternoon with 13 strikeouts and gave up just three hits in the complete-game victory.The Black Sox opened the scoring in the fifth inning when a ball hit by Sayers was misplayed in right field to allow Jeb Pallot, who picked up the win on the mound in game one, to score.
